TERMS AND CONDITIONS
a) Clean ‘n’ Move reserves the right to amend the initial quotation, should the client’s original requirements change or the condition of the property or appliances are in a dirtier than normal expected.
b) If collection of keys is required from anywhere other than the location of the cleaning scheduled, a £20 charge will apply.
c) Minimum duration of 3 hours per cleaning visit applies for all domestic cleaning services.
d) Any time estimates given are purely for guidance only
e) Clean ‘n’ Move will not be responsible for triggering any alarm systems. Customer should give any special instructions for deactivation/activation of any household alarm systems.
f) The customer understands that additional Parking costs may apply if there is no allocated parking at the property.
2. SPECIAL CONDITIONS
a) End of Tenancy Cleaning
i. The price quoted will include the items listed on our standard cleaning list and will not include any additional extras requested by the customer.
ii. The standard end of tenancy cleaning service does not include cleaning of walls, ceilings, curtains, balconies, patios, appliances, cooker hoods, exterior windows and carpets, washing/laundry or rubbish removal. These are a separate service and need to be quoted separately.
iii. The property must be vacated of persons, Property and furniture otherwise our free re-clean promise will be void.
b) Carpet Cleaning
i. If the customer has a dog, cat or other hairy pet then an extra 30% charge will be added to the service price due to the extensive amount of animal hair slowing down the cleaning process.
ii. A surcharge may apply for badly stained carpets or where there are adhesives or gum stuck on the carpet.
iii. Clean n move reserves the right to change the cleaning process depending on whether it is needed or not with no adjustments or money back from the original quote.
a) Only payments by bank transfer or debit/credit card over the phone are accepted.
b) The customer agrees to pay the full amount on the morning of your
c) Invoices/certificates will not be issued until full payment has been received from the customer.
d) For all our services all customers must pay before or when the cleaners arrive on your chosen cleaning day.
a) In case of a complaint, Clean ‘n’ Move requires to be notified within 72 hours after completion of the cleaning work. No claims for re-cleans will be entertained after the above time limit. If the customer/agent wishes us to re-clean a property after the 72hr period is over, there will be a £50 charge for a new cleaner to attend the property. Unless a different agreement has been put in place by Clean ‘n’ move and the estate agent or landlord beforehand.
i) Clean n move will not and do not offer any monetary compensation. For re-cleans, the customer/agent must supply a hard copy cleaning list to make sure everything is cleaned, after this Clean ‘n’ move will not accept any complaints and will not come out to re-clean.
ii) Clean n move
iii) For move in/out cleans through a landlord or homeowner. You must check over the cleaners work before they leave and if necessary ask them to clean any areas which you feel is unsatisfactory. We will not come out and re-clean after the cleaner has left.
b) All fragile and highly breakable items must be secured or removed. Items excluded from liability are: cash, jewelry, items of sentimental value
c) Key replacement/locksmith fees are paid only if keys are lost by our operatives. There is a £30 per household liability limit
d) In case of damage Clean ‘n’ Move will repair the item at its cost. If the item cannot be repaired Clean ‘n’ Move will rectify the problem by crediting the customer with the item’s present actual cash value toward a like replacement up to a maximum of £75 per item.
a) Clean ‘n’ Moves Operators are self employed and have their Public and Employer’s liability insurance. The policy will cover any accidental damages caused by an operator working on behalf of Clean ‘n’ Move, reported within 24 hours of service date.
Clean ‘n’ Move reserves the right not to be liable for:
a) Completing tasks which are not stated on our Checklist.;
b) Cleaning jobs not complete due to the lack of hot water or power;
c) Third party entering or present at the customer’s premises during the cleaning process;
d) Wear or discolouring of fabric becoming more visible once dirt has been removed;
e) Failing to remove old/permanent stains that cannot be removed using standard carpet cleaning methods;
f) Existing damage or spillage that cannot be cleaned/removed completely using the standard carpet cleaning equipment;
g) If the customer has got items which need special cleaning methods and special cleaning detergents, Clean ‘n’ Move reserves the right to refuse the provision of the cleaning detergents.
h) Any defects in the cleaning picked up by the Landlord or Letting Agency in the case of an End of Tenancy clean
a) 48 hours notice is required if customer should either decide to cancel or re-schedule a cleaning appointment.
b) Customer agrees to pay 10% of the quote as a cancellation fee before the 48 Hours notice. 25% of the quote as a cancellation fee if the customer cancels or changes the date/time less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment or 50% if cancelled on the day of the scheduled cleaning.
c) Customer agrees to pay 50% of the quote as a cancellation fee in the event of a lock-out cased by our cleaners being turned away; no one home to let them in; no water or power available at customer’s premises; or problem with customer’s keys.
If keys are provided they must open the lock without any special efforts or skills.
The customer agrees that Clean ‘n’ Move if authorised to take a further credit card payment if necessary to cover the cancellation fee.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the relevant United Kingdom law, and by agreeing to be bound by them the customer agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts of the United Kingdom. Clean ‘n’ Move reserves the right to make any changes to any part of these terms and conditions without giving any prior notice. All Cleaners are self-employed and have their own insurances to cover injury at work, damage to any property that they are working in, on and around. If any accident, damage or any liability occurs Clean n move is not responsible for these and any claims should be through the contractor
a) Clean ‘n’ Move does not have Public and Employer’s liability insurance, this is covered by its contractors who have their own
